I've got a preschooler who is a bit hyper, compulsive, and has some sensory processing issues. The only thing he responds to is calm assertiveness, as raising voices and forceful "timeouts" don't seem to do much other than spin him higher and higher.</p><p>By the way, I'm a Dr. Wayne Dyer fan myself, and am currently reading through his old Sacred Self book.</p>Frugal DadMon, 18 Aug 2008 14:37:13 -0000
