    Nice response to the topic, Michael. I honestly am not comfortable with the idea of paying kids to learn. One of my close friends tried to do that with her daughter, and even money did not motivate her to do better in school. She's now at a loss as to what to do.

    Hey Michael...actually quite a brief response to the article on paying kids to learn! More brevity than I could have mustered. All I can think about are the pizza parties as a reward for reading so many books. We just end up with fat kids who don't like to read!

    @Karen. When the money stops working, it does leave us a bit stuck doesn’t it?
